Finally I can rest
October 28, 2005
Vacation for one week.Yay.
These past weeks before the vacation I have really fucked some aspects of my life up. I am really tired and would probably kill myself if this break didn’t exist. Deepest apologies for those who I have affected negatively during this timespan.
I am tired and I need to rest, as do everyone else.
I suck(ed)
October 27, 2005
Wow, I just happened to find something I wrote several years ago, and it’s crap. Poor spelling, grammar, formulation, etc.
Feel ashamed of my former self. I know that one day I would be ashamed on how poor the stuff I write now are.
Those times when you really start doubting your faith…
October 24, 2005
Life is funny. You know, there are those things that make you wonder if G-d really exists after all. I did not believe that an almighty G-d existed, but recent changes have made me slightly doubt my faith.
I have been a cripple these past few days, hurt my back at the gym. Seems like a punishment from G-d for joking about cripples in the previous entry.
It’s been a pain, but I’ve made it through. I am almost fully healed now. Still, don’t you also have these small things that make you doubt your faith (it could be for or against the existance of a Greater being). Like sometimes you wish that G-d would show you a sign and when something weird happens you do not know how to interpret it.
You might also wonder why I am addressing him/her/it with G-d. It is because if there is really a G-d existing, it could be a Jewish G-d, who I would not like to enrage or anger in any way. Still, the probability of G-d being the Jewish one is not that Great, considering how many religions there are where people believe in a G-d.
Who cares…
Pay, or be a jerk
October 19, 2005
Marketing gone bad.
Yesterday some nice postcards popped into the mailbox. Inside was a letter from someone without arms saying that the paintings on the postcards have been done by mouth and feet painters. Basically, it told you to pay if you wanted to. They are cripples for goodness sake! You would be the world biggest idiot jerk if you do not pay them.
This is really smart marketing, playing with peoples morals and feelings.
I really got the urge to give them some money along with a note with a joke on it, reading: “What’s better than winning 10 gold medals at the Paralympics? Not being a retard.”
This is not only “pay, or be a jerk”, this is “pay, and be a jerk”.
Aaarrrgg… damn crippled people
Why we do not see Gerhard Schröder worshipping Hitler
October 17, 2005
Wow. It happened again. Japanese prime minister Kuizumi went to the Yasukuni shrine again.
To those who don’t know, that is where the war criminals of WWII Japan are buried. It is like seeing Gerhard Schröder go and visit Hitler’s grave every once in a while. How would you feel if he did that? Kuizumi means that there are not only war criminals, but also soldiers who fought the war. Why not just remove the war criminals from there? Because they are still considered heroes by some in Japan.
The countries against him visiting the Yasukuni shrine are mainly China and South Korea. In China, 9 million civilians were killed and 1.3 million were missing after the war. 3.1 million soldiers were killed. 13.4 million Chinese lost their lives. Sweden only has a population of 9 million, so imagine a small country like this being completely whiped out.
This thing with going to the Yasukuni shrine is not new, many Japanese priministers before Kuizumi also went there. Instead of being enraged, I feel sad about this. It is very unresponsible and impolite to all the families who lost someone during the war. Dont get me wrong, it is not like all Japanese people support this, many Japanese people also criticize Kuizumi for going there.
Kuizumi doing that is just like Schröder going to visit Hitler’s grave. Even if Hitler’s grave is surrounded with soldiers who fight bravely and lost their lives during the war, it does not matter, he does not do that.
Long time no blog
October 16, 2005
Its been a while since I wrote something. First of all I have been pretty busy with homework, and secondly I have been very lazy. Do these two lame excuses make up for one valid excuse?
On Friday I really messed things up. There was this girl who had a birthday, and whos friends were gonna suprise. I accidentally run into their suprise party (which was in a classroom). At first everyone was looking at me, a bit shocked. I panicked for a second; unable to decide whether to walk out pretending nothing had happened or stay awkwardly, empty-handed. Before my mind was made up, people started saying “come” to me, so the first option got killed.
An accident in town stopped some bus lines in the afternoon. I waited 40 minutes for a bus, all in vain. I had to call them to know that the bus line was canceled. If I had not called, I would not have known. Really nice company eh?
Yesterday I went swimming with a friend at lunch, but as lazy as I am, we ended up spending most of the time in the bubble pool, just chilling and gossiping. I love gossip.
Later that day I went and watched Crash! with some other friends, followed up with some spicy latino steaks. The movie is really nice. It touches you emotionally and really leaves a trace on you. Unlike many average movies that are just interesting when you see them and which you forget afterwards, Crash! is definately anything but average.
Thats about all, peace.
Finally back
October 4, 2005
For the past week my MSN Messenger and Blogger did not work. Today I was finally able to fix it, and guess if I’m proud.
A lot has been going on lately, and I’ve also been thinking a lot, most of the thoughts are now lost and forgotten because I could not blog and was too lazy to record them any other way.
We have been having quite a lot to do in school recently, but it never seems quite enough, because I can always find another lame excuse for me to go off and play DotA again.
Last Wednesday I missed my presentation in Religion course. I woke up an hour late, because I did not hear the alarm go off. There were two busses at the station, and I took the wrong one. I jumped off and chased the other bus for 5min, the driver was playing with me. Really sad that he’s got to do that to balance out all the sorrow in his life. In the end I caught it at a big station where many people had to go off, thus making the bus stay for a longer time. After all that, I still came half an hour late and missed my time for the presentation.
Something quite sh*tty that happened was that a friend who sold me a Steam account and wanted it back, sent an email to Steam telling them I’ve hacked his account. He got it back. Valve are such unprofessional retards and can go and fudge themselves. (Does blogger tolerate swearing?) It’s not about the money that I reacted so heavily upon this, but that a friend would go through all that effort to betray me. If he would just ask nicely I would have given it to him. I sent an email to Steam yesterday explaining a situation, let’s see how well Valve can handle this. I expect them to do nothing.
I guess that summarizes what has been going on lately. Anyhow, it feels good to be back.
Out.
