Oh my God!

Hey. Been a while, eh?

Adding some new content for Google to index me faster in the future.

Should actually do something worthwhile with this, seeing that it already has PR3. :)

A scammed scammer, or the greatest scam ever?
May 29, 2006

Apparantly, a guy called Amir scammed a random student on £375, giving the random student a broken laptop 2 months later. The random student (alias laptopguy) manages to recover data from the hard-drive of the broken computer, and posts the findings on a blog. The blog spread like wildfire on the net, the scammer got owned, everybody is happy. Click here for link to blog

Stop.

I see three possibilities:
1. It is all true. The student got scammed, got pissed and did a blog. The scammer got what he deserved.
2. The laptop was stolen, the sensitive information obtained was beloning to the victim of the theft, who now is faced with a lose-lose situation.
3. The blog itself is a scam. Why didn’t the student contact police, contact bank/paypal/other-pay-service for the address of the scammer. The pictures, the porn pictures all had different links. The picture of the passport is edited with Microsoft Paint, as with the pictures above, which was supposed to be the work of Amir. The work done in Paint have the same styles. Several days after he posted the blog he decided to not to update it. Suddenly a guy from nowhere takes it over at another webaddress (May 29), who joined on May. laptopguy also joined on May. It seems he just posted it all on one go, meaning he must know blogger.com quite well, perhaps indicating he already runs another blog there. Lastly, he links to ANOTHER blog started the same day as the other (May 29), the author also joined blogger.com in May. All three blog authors joined the same month, made their post the same month (2/3 on the same day even!), their blogger profiles all look similar, hastily made without much information. Lastly (again, I know, lame) you could see angry supposedly posted by Amir under different nicknames in the comments section of the blog, and later you see that laptopguy has received an angry call from Amir’s uncle. This last part might be laptopguy trying to ensure us that possibility 1 is true.

There is no proof that possibility 3 is true, just a lot of information, when pieced together, might give an indication of what is really going on. The arguments for possibility 3 is the result of some quick reasoning, if given the time I might provide you with better ones.

Why would anyone pretend to be scammed on the net? Publicity must be it, brilliant idea by the way. I would have done it if given the time, if only I had thought of it. I can imagine the day laptopguy says that he is Amir, everyone would know him for the genious prank he pulled on the entire internet. He would be a internet-celebrity, the next Maddox.

So before the internet population (and the media) gets too hyped, draw conclusions too quickly, eat pizzas too fast… wait. See what happens. You wouldn’t want to laugh at an idiot getting owned by his own scam, make sure your not the one being scammed.

Written quickly, will check spelling and logic lateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrr.

Break
February 27, 2006

To be able to enjoy life you need time and money. I had none. Now, I at least have time. One week of break, friggin’ sweet.

What have I been up to? Apart from arguing with kiddies on forums about whether their grammar/spelling is wrong, not much, not much.

“I fsck your family”
January 6, 2006

Remember when you used to tell others that you’d fsck their families? I do. That’s what I used to say when people told me to fsck myself. Talk is talk, nothing more. When you make talk like that reality it gets sick. Who would search for every member of a person’s family and fsck them one by one? Apparantly the “Paratroopers of the Multi-National Forces” would.

They found and took 3 of Saddam’s relatives into custody. “Confiscated” (stole) 300,000 dollars and a cache of light arms. Later they released one of them, two still remain in custody. Saddam’s family is getting fscked.

The Iraqi campaign is sick. I fsck their families.

Free Saddam
December 30, 2005

A new year is coming. While some gather around friends and family in order to celebrate the coming year, others live under a lot worse circumstances. Now I’m not talking about the malnourished kids in Africa (that you hear too often), I am talking about Saddam. Yes, the “dictator/terrorist/other things” guy.

I was thinking: “Damn, new year coming so soon…” when suddenly my thought slipped to “… I wonder how Saddam is having it.”

How would it feel if one day you were the leader of an entire country, living in luxury — and the next day getting beaten/tortured by american brats (new recruits) in jail?

Now before you start giving me crap for what I just wrote, continue reading.

Firstly, if your American, stfu. 41% of you believe that Saddam has strong links with Al Qaeda, 22% believe that he helped plan the 9/11 attacks, and another 26% that Iraq had WMDs. The fact remains, Americans are stupid. 89% of the population are lost, and the remaining 11% are overwhelmed by a stupid majority. O yeah, the statistics came from today’s news if your wondering. American democracy is like the biggest generalization body ever, and it seems to be working. I guess I’ll also generalize; All Americans are stupid and should stfu.

For the rest of you, try to understand my point. Since Al Qaeda took blame for the 9/11 attacks the USA (lead by Bush) has been vigorously trying to find Osama, without success. The government was losing support by each day, something had to be done. Wait, Iraq has WMDs, Saddam is linked with Al Qaeda, he helped plan the 9/11 attacks, he is Santa Claus, he eats children, etc.

I don’t understand, USA set up the UN to keep world peace. Then they completely ignore UN’s order to NOT invade Iraq, showing no respect to all the contries which rejected with their veto rights. If another country would have done the same thing - any other country - , the US would turn the entire world against them.

When I ask people why Saddam is a bad person, they go: “He killed a lot of innocents”, I usually reply with something like: “He went and killed them one by one personally? In wars, the most people killed are innocent civilians. More or less invalid point.” … “Oh.. hmm. Umm, will you still be my friend… please?” Another common argument is: “He killed his own people.” So you mean that if you are a parent, you should discipline the children of others and not your own? If you were to try to disclipline my future kids I’d kill you (or ruin your life, legally), no doubt.

I think I can agree that Saddam has ordered killings of many civilians, brutally (this we all agree on). I think I can agree that Bush has ordered killings of many civilians, brutally (Iraq war, civilian casualties, 3k soldiers lost). Toture from both sides too. If one of them were to be put on trial, both should be, or neither.

This is a win-win situation for the US lead by Bush:
1. The termination of a highly influencial muslim leader (Christianity vs. Islam) for one.
2. Winning an election too, he made a mess in Iraq, only he could clean it up. If I were to go diarrhea-spree in your house, who would you want to clean it; me or some random dude?
3. A show of force, other countries will fear them more.
4. Usage of old war equiptment which would otherwise have costed millions to dispose and maintain.
5. Testing of new, prototype weaponry.
6. Oil
7. Excuse for a military buildup for later use.
8. Im sure there is tonnes more. Half a tonne for what I’ve forgotten, and another half for the secret shit they do in private. You know, wars aren’t the most transparent things.

So Saddam is prolly sitting in his cell getting beaten and eating shit food, and would probably spend his New Year that way. All while his American counterpart is having fun celebrating. Nice.

I have more to tell, but bah.. this will do. Getting quite tired. Seems this turned out to be yet another America bashing article, aww. If I don’t write something before New Year, then let this be my last post of the year. Happy New year people!

Other than that… free Saddam! (+ flame me)

Way to go freedom!
December 17, 2005

It’s been a while since I wrote something meaningful. This one will be about piracy.

Piracy is something that has always existed. Experts recall the Atari time when only about 10% of the games played were bought, while the rest were either borrowed or pirated. The industry has learned to grow with piracy on their backs like in a symbiotic relation, where both parts benefit. The products pirated gains publicity while the pirates… they get the stuff for free.

Sony recently made a fool out of themselves, when users noticed that their products secretely installed software on your computer that logs your actions and sends it to their servers. In fact, the spy software that Sony used was pirated! Also, they have patented some kind of technology to make their PS3 games only work on one machine. That means that you can no longer lend/trade games with friends anymore! Sony = boycott.

What else? Hmm, TCPA. This means that soon all computers will have inbuild devices to spy on you and send your private information to their main servers. Yay, really looking forward to it.

Not too long ago, the European Union decided to “require all telephone and Internet traffic to be logged and stored for up to a year in order to help combat organized crime and terrorism”. That’s just totally freaking awesome dude! I am soo happy that some random dude will hear all I say and all the sites I surf. Does this mean I have to change some habits? ;)

I understand that the entertainment industry needs money. I do not understand why they are doing things about it now, when piracy has been going on forever and they have survived and suceeded during that time. Everyone’s doing it now. It is like every power hungry bitch has been thinking about what they want to do to gain more power and suddenly when one of them moves to action, a chain-reaction occurs.

It has to be like this. A compromise. We often hear that in debates, the two sides beliefs varies a lot, but as it goes along, their beliefs approaches each other. In the end when they settle the settlement lies somewhere in the middle. It has to be like this. In the future, capitalism and communism will reach a compromise. The democratic government will reach a compromise with the totalitarian one. People will look more like each other. Everything becomes a grayzone, and… and (forgot what I was about to say).. and we all get retarded and kill ourselves.

There is so much shit I can pour on the entertainment industry, but I won’t.

Why can’t people be like Benjamin Franklin? “The man who trades freedom for security does not deserve nor will he ever receive either.” That also means Benjamin believes that if you trade security for freedom you will deserve both and get both. If I remove all the locks from my house, no wait, all the doors too. Will that give me more freedom? Yes. Will that secure the house even more? Hell no, and hell might just be the place Benjamin Franklin is right now for trying to trick me.

Bah, forget about him. Just remember that I am superman and that you have to compromise. (BTW, my English is getting crappy again. Need I write more?)

Wow
November 23, 2005

Something happened today, something that made me re-evaluate the existance of God.

God might exist.

I wish not to talk about what happened.

Out.
